Hunts are available from March to November. Choose from our packages or customize your own. We hunt on top nature reserves and private properties across Southern Africa. Hunting helps manage wildlife populations, maintains ecological balance, and fosters a connection with nature. Our flexible approach caters to all hunting methods and species. We offer hunts in Limpopo, Free State, Eastern Cape, and the Kalahari, with each area suited to specific species. Enjoy walk and stalk or spot and stalk hunting in Africa’s open landscapes.
Bow hunting safaris are available year-round, with the best season from July to November. We hunt in exclusive bow hunting areas, primarily using blinds near waterholes and walk and stalk methods. Our professional team ensures an exciting, memorable adventure. Regulations vary by province, and we’ll provide the latest info before booking. Bow hunting offers a unique wildlife experience, with each hunt bringing new surprises. Permits are required in most provinces, and we'll arrange them in advance, ensuring compliance with equipment and species restrictions.

In Southern Africa, we hunt birds like francolin, guinea fowl, doves, pigeons, Egyptian geese, spur-winged geese, and ducks. Bird hunting seasons vary:

Expect 300–1000 shots daily, with bag limits of 5-10 birds per outing. We hunt near dams using decoys or dogs, ensuring an exciting experience.
Lake Jozini, located in Kwazulu-Natal, is South Africa’s top spot for tiger fishing, just 30 minutes from Pongola Game Reserve and 15 minutes from Mkuze Game Reserve. Charter fishing in St Lucia is popular for various game fish species. A fishing permit is required. Deep-sea fishing charters are weather-dependent and involve surf launches, offering an adrenaline-filled experience. Skippers are experienced, prioritizing safety. Charters usually depart early morning, and trips are an additional cost. Remember to pack snacks and water for the adventure.

Terms of business
A deposit of 30% of the daily rates confirms your dates. The balance on the daily rates is payable on arrival at the airport. Please note only cash are accepted in camp. Any deposit paid to Savanna Hunting Safari's will be kept for a period of 24 months if the hunter or non hunter for any reason can not start with his or her hunt on the given date, after the of 24 month period and the hunt not taken, the full deposit will be forfeited to Savanna Hunting Safaris, a 50 % refund off the deposit will be paid back in the case of death to the hunter or spouse. Any hunting permit bought prior to the hunt are non refundable in the case of any hunt cancelation. Any client wishing to fly between areas is responsible for his own & the PH's air fare. Loss of hunting days due to illness, lost luggage, delayed flights, etc. are at the client's expense. All animals taken, wounded and lost will count as if killed.
Liability
Savanna hunting safaris will take the utmost precautions to ensure your safety. We cannot, however, accept responsibility for any illness / accident or expenses arising from such an illness / accident.
